Cinnabon Rolls

Preparation Time: 30 minutes

Cooking Time: 15-20 minutes

Serves: makes about 20 rolls



Cream Cheese Frosting


  1. To make frosting, mix all ingredients until smooth.
  2. In a bowl combine water, yeast and sugar. Stir until dissolved. Set aside.
  3. In large bowl, take pudding mix and prepare according to package directions.
  4. Add margarine, eggs and salt. Mix well.
  5. Then add yeast mixture. Blend.
  6. Gradually add flour; knead until smooth.
  7. Place in a greased bowl. Cover and let rise until doubled.
  8. Punch down dough and let rise again.
  9. Then roll out on floured board to 34x21 inch size.
  10. Take 1 cup (225g) soft butter and spread over surface.
  11. In bowl, combine the brown sugar and cinnamon.
  12. Sprinkle over top.
  13. Roll up very tightly.
  14. With knife, put a notch every 2 inches (5 cm) then cut along the notch.
  15. Place on lightly greased cookie sheet 2 inches (5 cm) apart.
  16. With your hand, lightly press down on each roll.
  17. Cover and let rise until double again.
  18. Bake at 350F (180C) 15-20 minutes. Remove when they start to turn golden. Make sure not to over bake.
  19. Frost warm rolls with Cream Cheese Frosting
