A character that has mastered a philosophy and Chi may reach Enlightment and start down the immortal path. In game terms this can be seen as another 5 point power set that can be advanced as normal once the prerequisites are met. Once on this path, or even approaching it, though a player will start to attact attention from other immortals who may not want others who may oppose or supplant them in the Celestial Beauracracy.

Immortal Powers
Level | Points | Ability |
---|---|---|

2 | 30 | Physical Mind Walk |
3 | 100 | Simultaneous Light and Dark Chi |
4 | 250 | Immortal Third Eye |
5 | 750 | Create Chi Avatars |
- Immortality via Reincarnation
- If the character dies their soul can choose to return in a new body, rapidly gaining full awareness of their past lives.
- Physical Mind Walk
- Able to bring body, equipment, and other people with them when Mind Walking
- Simultaneous Light and Dark Chi
- Can hold Light and Dark Chi. Doubles total chi and recover rate, half positive, half negative.
- Immortal Third Eye
- Can see mortals past/present/future, see chi and invisible
- Create Chi Avatars
- Costs 40 Chi. Can have up to one avatar per 20 years of life including reincarnation. The avatar can do anything the immortal can do, except create avatars, and the immortal experiences anything that the avatars do. Immortals can use this ability to transform a willing mortal human into their avatar. Doing so gives the immortal far less control over how their abiities are used, but often results in a much richer experience for particuarly older immortals as they get a set of experiences more similar to what a modern mortal would experience. Upon dieing an immortal may sacrifice an avatar inorder to immediately transfer their soul to a different avatar. The sacrificed avatar is killed. If the avatar that the immortal tranfers their soul into is a transformed mortal. Only one soul will remain dominant and the other will spend the life of the vessel suppressed only a witness to their life.
