Two Alarm Chili Kit

This is the recipe from the prepackaged 2 Alarm Chili Kit.

Directions

  1. Brown meat. Drain Fat.

  2. Add remaining ingredients except Masa Flour and garnishes.

  3. Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 30 minutes or until meat is tender.

  4. For a thicker chili, Stir Masa Flour into 1/4 cup warm water. Then, mix into chili and simmer 15 to 20 minutes.

  5. Serve with garnishes.

Notes

I actually like to use a 28 oz can of diced or crushed tomatoes instead of the sauce and water.

I measured the contents of the packages to 1/4 tsp.

I estimated a 2:1 ratio of the combined cumin/oregano and onion/garlic powder. They measured: - 3 tsp Combined Cumin and Oregano - 2 1/2 tsp Combined Onion and Garlic Powder

  3. Add remaining ingredients except Masa Flour and garnishes.

  4. Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 30 minutes or until meat is tender.

  5. For a thicker chili, Stir Masa Flour into 1/4 cup warm water. Then, mix into chili and simmer 15 to 20 minutes.

  6. Serve with garnishes.
