Grill Marinade for Goat and Other Meats
Recently given so goat chops, wanting to grill them I found this great marinade recipe. I'm thinking about trying it with pork, chicken, or maybe a London broil.

Ingredients
- 8-9 chops (2 lbs)
- 6 cloves garlic (2 Tbsp minced garlic)
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 6 T lemon juice (one lemon Zest and juice)
- 1 unit alcohol (1 shot or one glass of wine)
- 0.5 t salt
- 0.5 t pepper
- 4 T oregano
- optional: fresh herbs
- optional: yogurt or sour cream
Procedure
Combine all the ingredients except the meat in a food processor.
Process until finely chopped.
Marinade meat for 2+ hours
Heat grill to high (5 minutes)
Cook on high for 2 minutes.
Flip
Cook on high for 2 minutes.
Flip
Turn down to medium/low
Cook on medium/low for 2 minutes.
Flip
Cook on medium/low for 2 minutes.
Take off grill and let rest for 5 minutes.
Serve with fresh herbs and a dollop of yogurt.
